About Suzie
Suzie has a passion for helping parents to feel confident in their parenting choices through intentionality. Suzie has a BA in psychology, from the University in Michigan and. two Masters in Child Life and School Counseling, She has worked in hospitals helping children to cope with scary healthcare experiences through play and developmentally appropriate teaching. Along with her parenting coaching, Suzie works as a school counselor in New Jersey and assists teachers and parents in understanding and managing student behaviors. Here, she also developed and teaches a social emotional curriculum based on Dialectical Behavior Theory which uses mindfulness as its core skill in sound decision making. She is the mother to an infant and toddler, and has the privilege to be the step mother to 3 teenage children - as well as. a fur baby!! With all of her formal education as well as years of experience with children of varying ages, Suzie felt a calling to help the general population of parents to feel armed with information to parent with confidence.
